Travelers must first determine whether their nationality requires a visa for entry to Mexico. Many nationalities, as well as permanent residents or visa holders of certain countries, are exempt from needing a Mexican visa for stays of up to 180 days.
VISA EXEMPTIONS
You are exempt from needing a Mexican visa for tourism, business, or transit (up to 180 days) if you fall into one of the following categories:

You hold a valid, unexpired multiple-entry visa from the United States, Canada, Japan, the United Kingdom, or any country in the Schengen Area.

You are a permanent resident of the United States, Canada, Japan, the United Kingdom, any Schengen Area country, or a Pacific Alliance member country (Chile, Colombia, or Peru).

You are a citizen of a visa-exempt country, including all European Union states, Argentina, Ecuador, Paraguay, Switzerland, and many others.

You are traveling on a cruise ship and visiting Mexican maritime ports.
INSTRUCTIONS BY SITUATION
Brazilian passport holders with a valid multiple-entry visa (U.S., Canada, Japan, U.K., or Schengen)
You are exempt from requiring a Mexican visa.
Bring your Brazilian passport and the valid visa together.
Prepare proof of accommodation (hotel or Airbnb), a return or onward flight ticket.
Brazilian passport holders without one of the above visas
You must apply for a Mexican Visitor Visa at a Mexican consulate before traveling.
The previous electronic authorization (SAE/e-Visa) is no longer valid.
Required documents typically include: valid passport, completed visa application, proof of accommodation, return flight ticket, financial solvency evidence, and details of the wedding.

GENERAL REQUIREMENTS FOR ALL TRAVELERS
Passport: Must be valid and in good condition (6 months validity recommended).
Proof of Accommodation: Hotel or Airbnb confirmation.
Return/Onward Ticket: Immigration may ask for proof of departure.
Purpose of Travel: Be prepared to mention the wedding and show invitation details if requested.
